Job Description
STATUS is seeking physicians to become a part of our Emergency Department team in St. Paul, Nebraska. Join STATUS working part-time, or PRN at Howard County Medical Center.
Position Highlights
- Annual ED Volume: 1,639 patients
- Average Daily Volume: ED: 5 patients; Inpatient: 2-3 patients
- Critical Access Hospital; Level IV trauma center
- Single physician coverage; Weekend ED with Hospitalist plus Saturday clinic (8a-12p)
- EMR: Meditech
- Shifts: 5p Friday - 7a Monday; Max: 62 hours
- 1099 independent contractor

Howard County Medical Center is a 10-bed critical access hospital that offers both inpatient and outpatient health care services. Since opening its doors in 1955, Howard County Medical Center has continued to grow with the help of its donors and volunteers to make its mission possible, which is to provide quality, efficient health care to make our community a better place through education and awareness.

- Board certified or eligible in EM, FM, or IM
- ACLS, ATLS, & PALS
- Previous EM experience required
