Job Description
Virginia Gay Hospital is looking to add physicians to it's established clinic team in Vinton, Iowa.
Position Highlights
- Daily Patient Volume: 25
- Clinic Hours: Monday thru Friday 7a-5p; Saturday 8a-12p
- OnCall: 1 day a week and 1 weekend a month as backup to the ED and Hospitalist
- EMR: EPIC
- Certification Requirements: ATLS, ACLS, PALS, & BLS
- Board Certified in Family Medicine
- 1099 opening with the possibility of permanent placement

Founded in 1923, Virginia Gay Hospital(VGH) is a privately operated, nonprofit critical access hospital serving the citizens of Vinton and the surrounding areas for over 100 years. VGH's purpose is to provide quality health care services by using innovative, growth-oriented techniques and maintaining a sound financial base.
